Enrichment Criterion

Welcome to the new school year! We are excited to share information about our district’s Enrichment Programs, offered to students in grades 4 through 6 in the areas of Math and English Language Arts (ELA).
The Enrichment Programs are designed to provide advanced learning opportunities for students who demonstrate exceptional aptitude and achievement in these subject areas. To ensure a fair and comprehensive selection process, eligibility for the program is determined by multiple objective data points. These criteria are carefully selected to assess each student’s academic performance and potential.
Although the criteria are listed below, please note that they are specifically designed to identify students who demonstrate exceptional mathematical and/or English Language Arts aptitude. To ensure fairness and precision, these criteria are reviewed and may be slightly adjusted each year to reflect the performance levels of the current student population. This approach allows us to better distinguish between students who are exceptionally gifted in mathematics and/or English Language Arts from those who are strong academic performers.
Please note that only students who meet the specified criteria are enrolled in the Enrichment Program(s). Additionally, participation in the program is not automatically carried over from year to year. Students must requalify annually based on updated performance data to continue in the program.
