November 25, 2020

In October, our Board of Education approved two virtual half days on Wednesday, November 25, 2020, and December 23, 2020.

This means that on these two dates all students, whether virtual or in-person learners, will participate in half days of instruction VIRTUALLY FROM HOME. NO STUDENTS will be in school on these academic days.

Students will receive a combination of synchronous and asynchronous instruction that will total four hours for each of these academic days.

Students will receive synchronous instruction by their homeroom teacher using their homeroom teacher's zoom link. Homeroom teachers will convene both their AM and PM classes together for Math and ELA instruction from 9:00 to 11:00 on each of these days. This will be the first opportunity that our students will be taught as a full class together. For our sixth graders - your team teachers will communicate a schedule. After the live instruction in the morning, all students will be given asynchronous projects that will be provided to them through a posting on Seesaw (Grades Pre-K-3) or Google Classroom (Grades 4-6).
