    Dear Students and Families:

It is with great pleasure and excitement that I welcome you to the 2018-2019 academic year at the Harrison Township School District! I hope that each one of you have had an enjoyable and memorable summer with your families and friends.

As the 2018-2019 school year begins, you can expect many things from your child’s school and our district as a whole. First, your child will continue to experience a rigorous and relevant academic program that has been designed to prepare him or her for success in future educational challenges and beyond. Also, our Positive Behavior Support Program will be a consistent part of every student’s day. New Jersey has developed new Harassment, Intimidation, and Bullying Legislation to help ensure the safety of all students across the State of NJ. Our implementation of this legislation is well underway and we will continue to incorporate these new and important changes into our positive Behavior Support Model and Philosophy in Harrison Township.

As in the past, you can expect a welcoming school community of staff and administration who are dedicated to providing our students with a positive individual learning experience that celebrates our learners and their talents. We encourage you to continue to communicate with your child’s educational team including the teachers, support staff, bus drivers, and administrators so that we can continue to work together throughout the 2018-2019 academic year to best meet the individual needs of your child.

Please enjoy each day of the 2018-2019 school year. Our exceptional staff is ready to lend support to ensure your child’s growth throughout the school year in Harrison. Please feel free to contact me any time with any questions that may arise.

    With sincere thanks and enthusiasm,

    Missy Quinn Peretti, Ed.D
